The goal of the Expo is to provide an informational event for parents that also includes fun and educationally interactive things for the kids to do. Attendees include pregnant moms up to parents with kids in elementary school.  The event is being marketed through local parenting/family magazines and directories, online calendars, promotional flyers distributed at local retail outlets, social media, direct mail invitations, radio, and much more!  Winn-Dixie is the Title Sponsor of the event and they bring in their national partners to include Johnson & Johnson, Gerber, Proctor & Gamble, Kimberly Clark and Sprout!  We also produce Children’s Expos in Orlando and Tampa.

Winn-Dixie would like to award the local elementary school in Miami-Dade County with the highest attendance at the Expo a gift card for $5,000 that can be used in their stores for school supplies.  I have attached a flyer describing the promotion.  Is this something we may be able to promote through The Parent Academy?  I have sent the information over to Lisa Thurman to see how we could get the information out to the elementary school principals but wanted to check with you to see if there were any opportunities to get the word out to the parents.  We would love to have Miami-Dade Public Schools involved in this free annual community event and can provide you with complimentary booth space and other ways we can promote your programs.
