Final Report Cards Available

Final Report cards are available. Parents may pick-up report cards from the Main Office from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm. Students who provided a self-addressed, stamped envelope prior to the culmination of the school year will have the Report Cards mailed to them.

Seminole Elementary’s Faculty and Staff would like to thank all students, parents, and community members that played such a vital role in the school’s success. We hope that you enjoy a relaxing and safe summer recess. Classes will resume on Monday, August 23, 2010. The 2010-2011 Miami-Dade County Public Schools Calendar is now available here.

The Miami-Dade County Public School district has provided a summer reading list and suggested activities for K-12 students. Parents are encouraged to use these valuable resources to ensure that learning continues to take place during summer recess.

Last Day of School

The last day of school is Wednesday, June 9. We would to wish all students and parents a happy and safe summer recess. The 2010-2011 school year will begin on Monday, August 23.

Early Dismissal Schedule

Parents are reminded that June 7, 8, and 9 are Early Dismissal Days. Students will be dismissed at 1:45 pm.

FDOT Roadwork-West Flagler

On Monday, June 7, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is scheduled to begin a roadway project along West Flagler Street/State Road (S.R.) 968 from 84 Avenue to 78 Avenue. This project will last about four months and cost an estimated $715,703. For more information about this project, please click here.

Tropical Elementary Summer Camp

Tropical Elementary School is offering a summer camp. The summer camp will include a “reading component” which will keep students interested and motivated to read over the summer. For more information, please see the Tropical Elementary Summer Camp Flyer and Registration Packet.

June 2010 Calendar

The June 2010 School Calendar is now available. Please remember that the last three days of school (June 7, 8, and 9) are all Early Release days. Students will be dismissed at 1:45 pm.
